The beauty of any activity is that when you throw your life at it and get absolutely involved, you find stillness - stillness from movement. Be it dance, yoga, art, music or whatever it is that you do, stillness ( or a state of balance) comes only from committed involvement. 'Sthiti' is inspired from this very idea and from the sculptures and carvings of various dance postures on South Indian temples.
