Acrylic and gold leaf on canvas

Notice the way in which fawns and the peacocks are dancing in this painting. What do you do when you are really happy and can’t contain your emotions? You dance. What do trees do when there is a nice gentle breeze? They dance. Adi yogi, the first yogi is said to have first graced the earth today, on the auspicious day of Guru Pournima; Adi Yogi is also know for his celestial dance (Nataraja). Dance is an expression of exuberance which is the soul of this existence. The painting just tries to gently evoke that emotion or a sense of exuberance within you.
