Als iemand die graag geniet van eenvoudige dingen, zoals kijken naar vogels die nesten bouwen en bladeren buiten mijn raam horen ritselen bij elk briesje, hoop ik diezelfde vreugde en ervaring tot leven te brengen door middel van kunst. Met elk van mijn kunstwerken wil ik een stukje natuur in woonruimtes brengen.

Hi!
I am Sravani and I am a self-taught Artist from India, currently living in Amsterdam. My creative practice is inspired by my interactions with nature. Simple things like golden sun rays kissing lush green leaves, the sound of a stream of water in a quiet forest, the depth of the ocean and the colours of the sky during a sunset- these things excite my senses.
I like to capture the essence of my subject through an expressive colour palette and rich impasto strokes. Through my art, I intend to bring a piece of this creation/nature in touch with the viewer and help them build a deep connection with it.
My finesse in professional painting evolved by being self-taught and adventurous. Art to me is more than just painting on a canvas. It’s a mindset that allows me to be explorative like a child. It's about finding my state of flow whilst enjoying stillness. Art to me is the feeling that I get when I find inspiration that moves me to the core and gives me a rush of energy. I create art so that I can experience these varied states of life. My prime goal is to evoke the same emotion and a deep sense of belonging to the viewer. I want my viewer to live and deeply connect with the process, feel everything there is on offer.
Spaces and styling
I have always been intrigued by the depth, mystery and the captivating nature of dense wild forests. I found my soul on fire as I walked into thick bushes with their leaves slapping my face, my feet drowned in sludge and Adrenalin high with the fear of encountering a wild animal. I experience the raw, unfiltered side of my personality every time I adventured in the forests and I intend to convey the same thrill and wonder through this collection.
Paintings inspired by wonder, adventure and moments of quiet interactions with nature. Sunbeams on fields, misty mountains, the sound of water and the romance of trees- live all these moments here through this collection.
